This guide does not determine jurisdiction.The receiving authority decides whether it can act. More than one report may be required, and a sport report never replaces emergency, law-enforcement, or child-protection reporting required by law.
Immediate danger
Safety comes first.
If someone is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical help, contact the emergency services where you are now. Do not wait for a sport organization to respond.
Use the closest sport route
Your club, national federation, national sport-integrity body, or National Olympic Committee may have the clearest local jurisdiction.
Escalate when needed
A Continental Union or World Taekwondo route may apply to its events or people, or help when a national route is unavailable or conflicted.
Suspected criminal behavior
REPORT TO LAW ENFORCEMENT IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT WAIT.
If child sexual abuse or any other criminal behavior is known or suspected, report it immediately to the law-enforcement or child-protection authority where you are. Do not wait to find a federation contact, receive permission, complete an internal process, or hear back from a sport organization.

Our commitment
Clear safeguarding standards should not depend on where an athlete lives.
USA Taekwondo and Not In My Sport will first ask the Pan American Taekwondo Union to establish a clear safeguarding standard across the region: every Member National Association should designate a safeguarding function, publish a role-based contact and reporting route, and keep that information current. Building and verifying that first continental network can provide a practical model for wider action through World Taekwondo. We will add verified links, contacts, and reporting information to this directory as they become available.
