Your pledge. Your choice.
Not In My Sport is a USA Taekwondo safety initiative. This notice explains how information submitted through the pledge form is handled. Do not use the pledge form to report misconduct or send sensitive case details.
What is collected
Only what the pledge needs.
The pledge record contains your first name, last initial, email address, selected role, country, consent choices, submission time, and a randomly generated reference number. The form does not request your full last name, birth date, organization, report details, or free-text comments.
Cloudflare processes technical information needed to deliver the site and prevent automated submissions. Not In My Sport does not add an IP address to the pledge record.
Why it is collected
A record of commitment.
USA Taekwondo uses pledge records to document support for the campaign, administer the pledge, respond to correction or removal requests, prevent abuse of the form, and prepare a moderated public supporter list if that feature is approved.
Pledge records are private at launch. Selecting the optional public-display box records permission to display only your first name, last initial, role, and country after moderation. It does not guarantee publication. Leaving the box unchecked keeps your pledge out of any public supporter list.
Your email address is never included in the public supporter record. It may be used to administer your pledge. Selecting the optional campaign-email box records a request for campaign-only updates; it is unchecked by default and limited to people who affirm that they are at least 18. The address must be confirmed before campaign updates begin. The campaign-email choice does not affect whether your pledge is accepted.
Your choices
Correction and removal.
Keep the reference number shown after submission. To ask about, correct, remove, or withdraw campaign-email consent for a pledge, email safeguarding@usatkd.org and include that reference or write from the email address used for the pledge. Campaign messages will also include an unsubscribe method. Do not include safeguarding case details in the request.
Pledge information is retained while the campaign operates and is reviewed at least annually. It is deleted when it is no longer needed for the campaign or when a valid removal request is completed. This notice will be updated before pledge information is displayed publicly or used for a materially different purpose.
